The FOREVER TOUR 2016 is the third independent tour by the German pop and rock singer Torben-John Miller.

The FOREVER TOUR was Torben-John Miller's third headlining tour. It took place from April 16, 2016 to December 21, 2016 and took him and her backing band through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The tour took place in three sections. The first part took place between April 10, 2016 and May 26, 2016. The second part started on June 8th, 2016 in Frankfurt am Main and ended on September 20th, 2016 in Vienna. The third and last block of the tour took place between October 11th, 2016 and December 21st, 2016. The tour was first announced on January 12, 2016, a few days after the end of the Clubshow Tour 2015.

Miller has previously played concerts in all cities. He played for the fourth time in the Quarterback Real Estate Arena Leipzig, ÖVB Arena Bremen and Olympiahalle Munich. In the Lanxess Arena Cologne and in the Frankfurt Centennial Hall he made guest appearances for the seventh time. In the Berlin Tempodrom Miller played for the first time. The largest venue during the concert series was the LANXESS Arena in Cologne with around 26,000 seats (seating + standing room added).

The stage design during the tour consisted of a large LED screen in the background. Live recordings were projected onto this during the concerts. There were two tiers of stage - the upper tier was like a catwalk with stairs on the side. The band was placed under the upper catwalk. In addition, there were several trusses with lights on the side in front of the LED screen. Miller wore the same outfit every night, which consisted of a black t-shirt, green and black jeans, and white sneakers. Since the 2015 club tour, there has been no opening act. There was also a lift on the second level so that Miller could switch between the main and second levels as quickly as possible during the performance. The main level had built in lifts for the band as well as a toaster lift for Miller himself. The highlight was the lift that could go up and also became a fire and water element - which had LED walls around it.

Miller himself announced on Instagram in 2023 that the long-awaited LANXESS Arena concert would soon be released as a live album (digital). The date of publication is still in the stars - according to the artist management.

Musically, Miller received support from a eight-piece band known as “MILLSQUAD”. During the tour he was supported by 10 male and 15 female dancers.

Setlist:[Bearbeiten]

The setlist during Miller's FOREVER TOUR consisted of 25 tracks, during the sound check he already played the two new tracks MY LOVE and Goodbye in front of all the fans with an early entry pass. The main show consisted of 22 songs and three encores. After eleven songs - after the song POWER - there was a 10-minute break - where the band played solo. The program consisted of a mix of all of Miller's studio albums, with most of the titles coming from the last studio album FOREVER (2010 version, now no longer available). From this album he presented twelve pieces, from the other studio albums he played about three to four songs each. There are also four new titles, Intro, MY LOVE and Goodbye. The intro is a prelude that was newly composed for the tour. MY LOVE and Goodbye are two tracks from the new studio album MILLER IN LOVE, which will be released later this year.

The album MILLER IN LOVE will be re-released in 2023 in connection with the live album "LANXESS Arena Concert - Live 2016" (Temporary Name).
