Lisa M. Schulte

Lisa Maria Schulte (* 1983) ist eine deutsche Biologin.

Leben[Bearbeiten]

Schulte studierte von 2003 bis 2009 Biologie an der Universität Marburg und untersuchte für ihre Diplomarbeit das Brutpflegeverhalten an drei Ranitomeya-Arten im Regenwald von Nordost Peru. Zuvor war sie im Rahmen ihre Studiums in an der University Agraria La Molina in Lima, Peru. An der Uni Trier promovierte sie in der Biogeographie bei Stefan Lötters in einer Kooperation mit dem Department Effect-Directed Analysis (Werner Brack) des UFZ Leipzig mit einer Arbeit “Chemical communication in the reproductive behaviour of Neotropical poison frogs (Dendrobatidae)”.

Schulte ist seit März 2018 Juniorprofessorin für Wildtierökologie an der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Schulte und ihre Arbeitsgruppe forschen zur Verhaltens und Evolutionsökologie mit einem Fokus auf der Evolution von chemischen Kommunikationsprozessen sowie dem Brutpflegeverhalten bei Fröschen.^[1]^[2]^[3]
