ICOR (Parteienbund)
Die International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations (ICOR, zu deutsch: Internationale Koordinierung revolutionärer Parteien und Organisationen), die am 6. Oktober 2010 auf Initiative der Marxistisch Leninistischen Partei Deutschlands in Berlin gegründet wurde[1] ist ein Zusammenschluss von weltweit 50[2] kommunistischen und sozialistischen Parteien. Der ehemalige MLPD-Vorsitzende Stefan Engel wurde zum Hauptkoordinator der ICOR gewählt.[3] Engel wurde in seiner Funktion als Hauptkoordinator seit Anfang 2016 aus gesundheitlichen Gründen schrittweise von Monika Gärtner-Engel abgelöst.[4] Inhaltlich versteht sich die ICOR als marxistisch-leninistisch und antitrotzkistisch. Keine klare Stellung bezieht sie zum Stalinismus.[3]

Aufbauarbeit in Kobanê[Bearbeiten]
2015 organisierte die ICOR Helfer, um zum Wiederaufbau der durch die Terrororganisation Islamischer Staat zu großen Teilen zerstörten Stadt Kobanê im kurdischen Teil Syriens beizutragen.[7] Von Juni bis Oktober 2015 sollten sich zunächst rund 140 Personen am Bau eines Gesundheitszentrums beteiligen,[8] die Zahl der beteiligten Helfer wurde auf 177 aus zehn Ländern erhöht.[9] Der Wiederaufbau Kobanês einschließlich des Aufbaus des Gesundheitszentrums wurde teilweise massiv behindert. So hatte die Türkei die Grenze nach Syrien geschlossen, wodurch die Zufuhr von Helfern und Baumaterial erheblich erschwert wurde,[10] außerdem soll die Türkei die Lieferung von acht Tonnen Werkzeug nach Kobanê verhindert haben. Es kam zu körperlichen Misshandlungen internationaler Aufbauhelfer durch türkische Grenztruppen. Wochenlang sollen internationale Aufbauhelfer an der Einreise nach Syrien über die irakische Grenze gehindert worden sein. Das mehrere ärztliche Behandlungs- und Untersuchungsräume sowie Räumlichkeiten für Bildungsarbeit und politische Förderung der Bevölkerung umfassende Zentrum wurde am 20. November 2015 eröffnet.[11]
